More photos of pond building progress in the tab about our 2014 pond. It was pretty much a weekend of digging in the mud for Tony. He’s working on the hole where the bio filter crates will be placed. When completed, it will look like a smaller pool that feeds into our rock waterfall. The rock waterfall will be much larger and possibly shaped like Niagara Falls.
Meanwhile, the koi have already been getting a little rough on the plants. They aren’t eating them yet, but love to swim around and through the plants. I’ll have to do a better job this year of nursing the water lily plants through the winter if they survive.
