We finally got the pool put together this week and today the pond digger added on the filtration system. We filled the pool with regular tap water and some pond water from the lower pond. The shiro utsuris and platinum ogon were moved into the pool at the end of the day. We’ll get the koi from the upper pond into the winter pool next weekend. We’re very hopeful that this will be a better system than last year’s multiple stock tanks. The 12′ diameter pool will also give the koi a little more swim room.
