more koi shopping

I was pretty much set on buying Midorigoi #38 from Genki Koi. It’s a very pretty green koi now but I’m worried that as it ages, it will just turn into a weird yellow color. While I was being indecisive, there was a posting about some tosai from Sakai at Genki Koi. Sakai koi farm is in the Hiroshima area where some of my mother’s family still resides. They also happen to breed a number of champion koi. So there are fifteen tosai from theoretically good genetic stock. We decided to purchase two of them…we’ll let you know which ones we picked when they come out of quarantine and get shipped to indoor koi land in Minnesota!
