Last night the pond digger was outside until 11:30 pm working on the rotary drum filter and the moving bed filter. Up at the crack of dawn to do something with some hoses and started up the system. Tonight he's knocking off early since it has started to rain.

Unfortunately we accidentally put a scratch on Ethel so she will need to stay indoors until I am sure she is healed. Ethel seemed quite lonely so I put the two shusui koi, Chinook and Coho to keep her company. The trio will go into the upper pond in a few days.

Moving some of the koi out means a larger home for the tosai koi. They've moved up from a 100 gallon stock tank to a 300 gallon stock tank.
