Winter seems really long in Minnesota. Spring seems to turn everything green overnight and the plants come back to life pretty quickly. We’re still in the middle of opening up our ponds. The upper pond filtration equipment is being redone and the koi might come out of the garage this week. The lower pond re-do is a project that involves new liner, new filtration equipment, staining the shade element, building a new patio deck and a new garden area this year. We’re still moving around plants and the landscaping chores will occupy us for weeks. I’m looking forward to the short but beautiful summer. Here’s a little video tour of our yard in progress.
